Corn Prom, Bogus Basin Ski Resort

The Vertigals are a group of women skiers who meet at Bogus Basin, once a week, and ski together.  There are 12 leaders at different ski levels who accompany their group around the Mountain. Our mission is to improve each woman's skiing experience.   

Basically, the Queen who is chosen at the Corn Prom, an event celebrating the end of the year skiing, is the person selecting  her favorite charity for the following ski year. As the 2008-2009 reigning Queen , Donna Bari, chose the Northwest Children's Home, Inc.  She has worked with Julene Reed, Director of Development, as a board  member for a number of years, and she truly believe in the services that this organization is providing.  Giving to a charity gives the Vertigals a  purpose. We are not only a group that provides a rewarding skiing experience for the Community,  but one that has a vision for helping the less fortunate.  The Vertigals were deeply moved by the young speaker, Traciy Mallory, and generously donated to this worthy organization, that improved her life and continues  to improve the lives of many other children.
