Youth Testimonies

  • “You all have taught me so many amazing lessons about life. I definitely would have never been able to be the person I am now without you all! From anger control and drug abuse, to heritage and self awareness. You all have played a major role in my life. Thank you for supporting and preparing me!”

  • “Please tell the Hopper staff that I am home for good and that they were a big part of me getting where I am today. Tell my therapist that I’m thankful for her. I am grateful for all of you and what you have done for me.”

    — NCH Youth

  • “I have lived at NCH for 2 years. Now that I am leaving, it hit me that I will be leaving my second family. So every night before I go to bed, I say the staff’s names so I don’t ever forget them because they are very important in my life.”

EVENT HIGHLIGHT

SPRING GALA

This year’s Spring Gala welcomed approximately 220 guests for an evening of dinner, entertainment, and community engagement. Attendees participated in raffles, a silent auction, and a live auction, creating a vibrant atmosphere of generosity and support.

Through the collective efforts of our sponsors, donors, and guests, the event raised just over $80,000 to benefit the children we serve. These funds are being directed toward several key areas: the restoration of our school following last year’s flood, the continuation of extracurricular opportunities such as fishing trips and summer activities at Silverwood, and the ongoing operation and maintenance of our facilities.

We are deeply grateful to all who contributed to making this year’s Spring Gala a success. Your commitment ensures that our programs remain strong and that the children entrusted to our care continue to thrive.
